The breakfast was delicious with pastries, lovely bread, and a proper toaster. Our room was newly renovated and included climate control, an adjoining terrace, and a kitchen area. - the location was good in a peaceful area.

Breakfast was good . Room small but comfortable
I would have preferred more than one mushroom and tomato. Noisy exam con outside the window

Had new-fashioned room with view, which I enjoyed. The breakfast was extensive, with lots of goodies.

Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed although room small all facilities were there. Lovely location close to rail services. Quiet area very clean i would recommend staying in this hotel.
The second night of my stay i ate in the restaurant and the meal was o.k but not great i was disappointed with the choice of food but thats just personel preference and will not stop me staying in the future.

Had 2 nights in Bexhill-on-Sea, spending our time here really good. The breakfast was reasonably priced with excellent view, truly enjoyed it. The location was fab, near to the trains, and the beach right outside the door. Also, St Marks Church was 2 km away from the hotel.

We love the location and have stayed here twice before. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are serviced to a very high standard. The overall experience is positive.
I would say the food is average.I ordered tagliatelli for lunch and it was served with roast potatoes and carrots! The breakfast food is better but the tea and coffee let them down. The coffee is usually bitter and the tea lacks flavour. This time I took my mother who is 89 year old. We had a lovely room with a sea view in the main hotel. She could not use the shower as there was no grab rail to help her in and out. Luckily my sister lives close by so Mum used her shower! In days of excessive health and safety regulations I would have thought a grab rail in each bathroom would be an advantage. We mentioned it to the manager Avril......?.She said the only showers with grab rails were in the annexe where there were wet rooms. I know my mother would not like a wet room and the room are not as large nor the views as good as the main hotel a I have stayed there.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely confortable. Breakfast and dinner was a dining experience with a large range of vegetarian choices.
The lack of a lift.

The restaurant food could have been of a higher standard - e.g. puddings home made on the spot, and the choc fudge cake warm not cold. Also a few issues around service - need to ensure all crockery and cutlery already on the table, especially at breakfast. Marmalade etc should be on table.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
